What a great day out on the water with James and the crew! We had a fun 2-hour fishing trip with I Love Fishing Charters, exploring the scenic creeks and backcountry around C.C. Haigh, Jr. Boat Landing. The weather was perfect, with clear conditions throughout the day.

We started by targeting Sheepshead and Red Fish using a mix of light tackle, jigging, and trolling techniques. The fish were really active, and it didn't take long before we had the first rod bending. James fought hard and landed a nice Sheepshead, flashing its distinctive stripes as we brought it in. From there, the action just kept getting better—we were hooking into Reds left and right, with the guys reeling in one after another. It was nonstop excitement!

By the time our trip was winding down, we had a great mix of fish in the cooler and plenty of stories to share. Even though we didn't set any records, the time we spent on the water was just perfect. April is a prime time for inshore fishing around Hilton Head, with the warming waters drawing the fish into the creeks and channels. We took full advantage of that, exploring the area and finding the right spots to target our quarry.
